A Time for Self Examination

I used these verses to lead me in prayer and through confession. Perhaps they'd be helpful for you, too.
Who can discern his errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then will I be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

~Psalm 19:12-14

Just found this blog today...a day that feels like a Monday in the worst way (even though it's Tuesday). I am hungering to do this but i just feel so much unrest and rebellion in my heart these days. I want to be a better mom for my little boy but just feel so tired. Hoping God will lead me towards a path of healing. Thank you for sharing this.

Praying for you, Mrs. G! May God draw your heart to His. May He give you the grace to surrender your unrest and rebellion - to trust that His way is best, even when it hurts a bit. May He lead you to the true joy which comes with full surrender and obedience. Oh, please run to Him, my friend!
