Getting Ready for Easter

OK, I've got 14 people coming over Sunday, plus my family - that makes 19 people for Easter dinner. Need to get the ham(s!), find enough chairs, buy a few more drinking glasses, oh - paper plates for the kids, decide on a vegetable recipe...

How about you? Are you making plans to celebrate Easter?

More important than getting ready for Sunday afternoon festivities, however, is our need to prepare our hearts. Let's talk about that today!

    Thank you for sharing the Word of the Lord with us today and the words of Charles Swindoll.

    This is one of my favorite times of the year obviously. The focus is JESUS JESUS JESUS JESUS...He's amazing and the sacrifice He made for us is incredible.

    Atonement - Redeemer - Messiah -- LORD and Savior!! He paid our debt in full indeed so that we can live forever. How awesome!!

    Jesus paid it all!
    All to Him I owe
    Sin has left it's guilty stain
    JESUS WASHED IT WHITE AS SNOW.

    Praise the Lord!

    Karen, what a wonderful video. Your voice is so soothing, and your eyes are so full of joy and life.

    Thanks for your thoughts which bring us back to the cross, and remind us to take our focus off the festivities and back to Jesus.

    I pray God uses this video to bring many people to Christ!

    The debt of sin canceled! Amen. I too was saying yes and Amen as I listened to you today! Blessings sweet sister. Praying that through all the preparations your heart remains close to the Lord through it all! Oh, and this morning we sang Jesus Paid it All before our devotions...been singing it all day!
