God's purposes are greater than our experiences. His timing is perfect...This was great. I have never taken this message from that story...I have gotten this message from the Lazarus story...waiting four days past when he died...poor Mary and Martha....how they must have suffered...then Jesus saying He was glad that He was not there...but look at what God acccomplished and how greater their joy receiving Him back from the dead. A great great message sister! Thank you!
One of the things that I love about the Scripture passage is Jesus' words to his disciples "Take courage!" When we don't have enough to bolster us through the tempestuous storms that are sure to come, God offers us his courage for the taking.
I can tell by your video that you host a sweet and gentle spirit. I could listen to you talk all day. I pray that God continues to use your voice for his glory in blogland and otherwise.
I could feel you looking right into my heart Karen. Thank you for sharing this encouraging message. It feels like I'm in the 4th...or 5th...watch. I know He will calm the storm at some point, but I am getting a little sea sick!
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with me! I will be responding to all comments left here. Please check back so we can continue the conversation.
