He Will Roll the Stone Away

Very early on the first day of the week, just before sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away.

What a great parallel Karen. I've never thought of it that way before, but of course it's true.
Nice post. :-)

Is there something going on in my life...well, just a few! LOL! What an encouraging message! It so neatly ties into Easter...He rolled our biggest obstacle of death away...why do we doubt He can roll all other obstacles away too...so I give him my neck for starters! Thanks for this uplifting message. Bless you today!

So true Karen! This is a great week to stop and think about all the stones God has moved for us so we can be encourage about the stones in our way now! I too was thinking about that stone yesterday as we remembered the resurrection story and another thougth occurred to me. God did not need to move the stone so Christ could get out. Christ arose and left the tomb without moving the stone. God moved the stone so we could see in. He wanted us to see His promise fulfilled so we could tell others. So I was reminded that everytime God has moved one of those stones in my life, I need to be sure I tell the world who moved it. Thanks for helping us remember that!

Greetings Karen,

I came to visit your site to see what MOPS meetings are all about. I have heard and listened to the MOPS on my Chistian radio station, but have never actually known they offered meetings. Maybe it's because I didn't fully hear the rest of the talk becuase my child was screaming from his carseat....

What I wanted to ask you is do the MOPS meetings (that you know of) offer childcare or do you just find your own? Also, are all the mothers there very 'proper' and 'perfect' like? Some other groups I attended (not MOPS) I felt so ignored becaue although I am always a clean person, I often felt left out because I wasn't 'dressed' or 'made up' in a way that was suitable to their expectations. I think that's why I fear going to any type of group...everyone (well not everyone) seems to 'show' they are so well handled and whatnot, while me on the other hand feels like 'OMgosh, all these ladies have perfect smiles and act so lovable with their lives, like they have everything all together....and here I feel so clueless and like I'm the only Christian mother who can't gain control'.

I don't want to pretend to be perfect like I see so many others do, but I want to be real so that others will be real with me as well. Am I making any sense???
