Brian and Matthew were cleaning the basement last weekend and came across a collage of pictures.
These are some of the gems they recovered... My Grandpa Pete and me at my cousin's wedding ~ June, 1987 My little brother and me, backstage at Grand Ledge High School. I was Zaneeta, and David was Winthrop in The Music Man. ~November 1987 Brian, Elizabeth, and me in the hospital the day Elizabeth was born. ~April 11, 1996 Brian and Elizabeth at Cedar Campus in Cedarville, MI. We were there for "Chapter Camp" when Brian was on staff with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. He had a break and was taking a nap. I laid Elizabeth down next to him, she squirmed a bit, and then settled into the same position as Daddy. I probably should have been napping, too, but for some reason I was taking pictures. *go figure* ~May, 1996Thursday, December 11, 2014

I love these pictures!!! What a fun post!
Kaira - I love them, too. Good memories which bring big smiles. :)
love the photos!! look at you back then, wow, so pretty and still just as beautiful now :) Your younger photos remind me of your daughter. I love pics, you remind me how I need to get back to scrapbooking. ((hugs))
Mommy - *sigh* And there you go, reminding me how I need to get back to scrapbooking. I don't even want to think about how many years "behind" I am right now. *really big sigh* :)
ha! Karen, I totally know what you mean...when I think about scrapbooking I'm disappointed that I'm falling behind. Frustrating because I really love scrapping but it is so hard to make the time to do it as I'm sure you know. It used to be easier for me to focus on when I had my scrapbook buddy and we would make an effort every couple weeks to work on projects together, but then she moved out of town and now it makes it way harder to schedule time together to scrap :(
Mommy - Every couple of weeks? Wow! That's impressive.
I have a friend who used to sell Creative Memories. I would always join her for a big scrap day once a year. Now that she isn't doing it anymore, I don't even have annual accountability. *wink*
Hey Karen, I'm seriously contemplating just getting my photos from Christmas memories into regular photo albums because I realize I likely won't be scrapping those like I want to!! Especially with how far behind I have fallen with my daughter's scrapbook. You must have been really organized to at least do annual scrapping. I realize I need to do projects immediately or else they likely won't happen:(
Sweet pics! You are an 80s girl (me too) -- love that hair! :)
Sara - Yep. I'm an 80s girl. Lots of hair, and lots of hairspray!
