Well, this sure seems to be the season for giving things away in blogland. I love it! Sue over at Praise and Coffee is giving away music and warmth. Two things I really enjoy. Stick with the praying mantis...a puppy is way too much work!
We actually had promised my daughter that when we got a house with a fence we would get a dog. We had decided to put it off until after Christmas, but I got to thinking it might be worse to housebreak in the dead of winter! Also, since there is a pretty good chance I could end up on bedrest this pregncny sometime around January or February, I thought it would be best to get the new dog thing over with now. Nevermind that we could have just told her we weren't getting a dog...it just didn't feel right to go back on the original promise!
