Whew!! I certainly had a major "workout" during this vacation...especially on the looooong flights!! lol!! But, as tempted as I was, I did NOT give up during those "moments"...

LOVE thinking of God as my trainer!

I thought of you while we were away as my daughter got swimmer's ear & I had to get a prescription filled...the woman at the counter was on the receiving end of some very unneccessary rude behavior...when it was my turn, I made sure to smile, say her name (*wink*) and tried to cheer her up a bit...she thanked me for it and smiled big! :)

Have a great day, my friend & I'll be posting vacation pics on my site tonight or tomorrow.

Ah, Patricia - You just totally made my day. And I know you made that woman's day at the pharmacy counter. THANK YOU!
Glad you kept going through the workout on the flights. You're getting stronger. *grin*

Great analogy, Karen! Exercising our faith muscles can leave us feeling exhausted and worn out (been there, done that, still doing that!).... but how wonderful and reassuring it is to know our Personal Trainer has eternal purposes for our workouts! (One of the things that keeps me going is knowing none of my trials are wasted -- and He has such a gentle touch. He is a LOVING Father/personal trainer -- not a drill sergeant. :)

Love you!

Sara - Yes. Knowing there's a purpose makes a difference, doesn't it? We may not like the moment, but we can trust God. Yessss!

I think God's training me for a marathon right now ;) Feeling the pain...physically. I know he has good things planned, though. So he just has to train me extra hard :)

Mary - And won't you be amazed when you cross the finish line!
He's a Perfect Trainer, and He knows just how hard to push.
