Discipline means to make as a disciple, right? And hopefully our kids will see through us and that we want to make them disciples of Jesus, not ourselves!

I have to admit, that I'm finding myself wanting to pitch a fit about my current situations. There are days when it's easier to trust...and days when I'm just exhausted from holding my breath while waiting. I KNOW that HE wants me to rest in Him and trust through this whole journey. He's shaping character and that's more important than my comfort. Tagged you on FB to share today's vlog with my friends.

Gianna - And that's what I constantly need to remind myself about my own journey. God is making me more like Jesus. So I will endure the discipline - because I want to be like Him!

KM - It's so easy to KNOW what's true and SAY what's true. But living it out? I know what you mean about wanting to pitch a fit.
Father in heaven, I know You know KM's situation. I know You know what You're doing and You are not worried about how things are going to turn out for her family.
I know You know when KM wants to pitch a fit and when she wants to shaping to just be over.
And I know You are loving her in the midst of her fears and fits. Thank You, Father!
Please cover KM with Your love today. Speak tenderly to her heart about Your perfect timing and faithfulness. Please fill her with peace and joy as she trusts in you - overflowing with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I'm asking it in the wonderful, powerful, beautiful, matchless Name of JESUS.
Amen and amen!

Sometimes I fail to recognize discipline from the Lord. Instead I say to myself,"I am so misunderstood. I am underappreciated. I am unloved. Nobody cares." I think I am a lot like Joshua :)

It is a true blessing to recognize when the Lord is disciplining me and to be still and know it is for my good and patiently wait on Him.

Good to see you again dear vlogger.

Heidi - I think we're all like that sometimes. (More often than I care to admit! *sheepish grin*) I love how God uses my every day experiences with my kiddos to help me understand these things.
It's good to see you, too! Thanks for stopping by.
