thank you for sharing your heart today! (and every day) We are having revival at our church this week and the guest pastor said something last night: It's in God's will for us to suffer, because in our suffering, we are drawn closer to Him. Oh how true!!
Oh....my head knows this to be true, but I am still walking around in the muck & the mire...and everytime I mess up I feel like He's looking down at me sighing (BIG sigh),"Oh, Patricia, again?!?!?"...lol...PRAYING to be in the place that you speak of!!!! ;)
Thanks for this! Hugs... Patricia (oh & thanks for the birthday wishes!! Made me SMILE!)
It is now Brin's turn to sit with me cuddling as we watch your devotional. With Maya off to school, my hard times have just changed drastically. My hard times will now include watching my little big girl struggling in the world and knowing that she has to do it. I can't take her out of it, but I can walk with her in it. I think that's even harder than going through hard times myself. I knew it wouldn't get easier as they grew up, but I so wished it would! thanks for the thought, Karen!

Jodi - That's just it. I don't necessarily like the process, but I love the result!
