LOVE the Christmas look to your blog!! Made me smile!
And yet another great reminder...funny, the more I picture God "holding me", the more I feel ridiculous for "resisting" my "refinement"...that beautiful picture of Him holding me makes me think, "Wow! YES!! I CAN do this...for Him who has given up the ultimate for me, little ol' me!"
THANK YOU, Karen, for that beautiful image!! Patricia
Patricia, I'm so glad you have that image to hold on to. Doesn't make the hard times any "easier," but it sure gives us hope!
Kreed, you are right. Not always fun. But the results? Oh, so worth it!
Edie, thank you for your kind words. *blush* You're still welcome to come over and decorate my house. Maybe we can skip the decorating part and just enjoy each other's company. *grin*
Awesome message, Karen. I love how God speaks to me in those quiet moments when I'm washing dishes, or cleaning the house, or driving somewhere. I haven't painted anything in my house in forever. My husband likes doing those manly things. And your home, from what I can tell, looks very well put together. I doubt you need any help decorating. Blessings!
Oh, my dear Angie. The key words in your statement would be "from what I can tell." There is a reason I usually record my videos in the living room. (Or, the "not lived in" room, as my husband likes to call it.) Maybe Thursday when I record my next devotion I'll do it in the family room and I won't straighten up the background. (If the lighting is good enough - that is another honest consideration. Better light in the living room. *grin*) Yeah. I want this blog to be REAL. No need for you all to think my house is "very well put together." LOL!

Ugh to mudding and sanding in life and at home...necessary, but not always fun!
As I was listening to the first part of your message, I was thinking how cute you are looking around your blog.
Then when I listened to your message, I was thinking how beautiful you are spending that time with God and learning from Him.
As always I am encouraged by you your message.
I decorate blogs better than houses. :) Thanks for the mention!
Love you!
Thanks, Amanda. So glad you like it! *grin*

No, I can not see me in God's hands. This may sound weird, but I know I am there, but I can't see myself there.
smooches,
Larie
OK, Larie. Then I'm going to be praying for you, asking God to put that image in your mind.
Smooches! *grin*
