Psalm 121

I lift up my eyes to the hills -
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
He will not let your foot slip -
he who watches over you will not slumber;
indeed, he who watches over you will neither slumber or sleep.
The LORD watches over you -
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
The LORD will keep you from all harm -
he will watch over your life;
the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

Psalm 121:1-8

What a blessing for my Monday morning! Thanks for sharing this. I need to print this out to keep with me this week. I remember memorizing it years ago. I think I'd like my kids to learn it now.

What a great breakdown of the Psalm 121!! I have never thought about taking the psalms once verse at a time. I think next year after I finish the bible I will do that...
Thanks,

Loved digging into this Psalm while doing Beth Moore's "Psalms of Ascent" study. So many rich treasures to be minded...so much safety to receive from our Father.

Happy Monday to you.

Thanks Karen! You have encouraged me to slow down with my reading and really meditate on the words. Going verse by verse, day by day is an awesome suggestion. Thanks a bunch for including us.

smooches,
