Tuesday in the Psalms

Looking for a psalm to consider today.
Turning the pages of my Bible, pondering God's goodness as I read many verses I've underlined at one time or another.
Stopping when I get to this one. Yes. This is the one for today!

I will praise you forever for what you have done;
in your name I will hope, for your name is good.
I will praise you in the presence of your saints.

Psalm 52:9

Today I am praising God because He is faithful and patient. His love endures forever!
I am so undeserving of the Father's love. If I were my child, I would have run out of patience for me a loooong time ago.
But not God.
He keeps on loving. Keeps on persisting in teaching me. Keeps on staying by my side.
Our God is faithful!
And my hope is in Him.

Please join me in praising God in the presence of His saints by contributing your praise in the comment section. And may I encourage you to write Psalm 52:9 on a piece of paper and stick it in your pocket today? Then, whenever you remember this verse - offer up a prayer of praise and thanksgiving to the One who loves you endlessly. And, if you're in the presence of His saints when you remember the verse, how about verbalizing that praise audibly???

I praise Him today with you sweet sister because I once was lost but now I am found, because I once was condemned and now I am redeemed, because I now live since He is Risen, because Christ in me is my hope of glory, because Jesus holds me in His everlasting arms always...oh the list can go on. Thanks for inspiring me to think on these things today!

Jesus today I praise you for all that you are going to do and all that you have already done in my life. Let my lips sing praise to you all day long and my actions bring you glory. I praise you for what you are doing through Karen as she encourages us and points us to you each day!

Lord, I praise you for your faithfulness to one who is often so unfaithful!! Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for using me, in spite of me. Thank you for Who you are. God with a Big G.

Oh yes, I praise God about my healthy children, my husband, my parents, my siblings, my friends. But I mostly praise Him for seeing something worthy in me, that He loves me so.

O Mom - Thanks for joining in the praise song! And thank you for encouraging me with your words. Yes! I want to point to HIM. Always!

Leah - "Thank You for using me, in spite of me." Amen, dear sister. Amen!

Angie - Yes. We could praise Him all day long as we give thanks for everything He has done, and with which He has so richly blessed us.

I echo Leah's prayer of praise. Thank you O God that you are faithful even when I am not. I will praise you because you are my God, my Yahweh Yireh.

it's been awhile since i've stopped by. i haven't posted my isaiah blog this week, but i will give you a preview about it. it goes along with your psalms verse.
"i will praise you in the midst of the saints." when i was reading isaiah 6 (which i have been thinking about now for a week and a half), i noticed that the seraphine who were flying around YHWH were saying TO EACH OTHER, "holy holy holy....." they weren't saying it to God. I thought about that for a while and realized that worshipping God is not just what we say TO God, but also what we say ABOUT Him. What i say to God really doesn't mean that much if what i say about him is contradictory. we always have the choice to praise God whether we are talking to him or not! i for one want to choose to praise him with my words!

Thanks for joining in the praise, Edie!

Yes, Gianna. We have a choice to be sincere in our praise, or to give mere lip service. I want to be true!

I love these verses. What wonderful hope and joy they impart. Today IS a day for praise!

I'm praising God because I see how far He's brought me this year. And I see how He's working in those around me.
