Hi Karen! I must have clicked in here at the same moment that you posted this. I love the devotion from your book. A message we all need to hear again and again. How nice that you put this on video. You have a such quiet and gentle spirit it doesn't seem to fit with "Irritable Mother." :D Congratulations on the book!

Congratulations Angela and Amanda for winning what sounds like an excellent book!

Karen,
Congratulations!
I will have to listen to all this either later tonight or in the morning when Lauren isn't making so much noise :)

I talked about you today in my post.
Hugs,
Sue

Accepted even though we aren't acceptable. I love it. Great thought.

I'd love to know if your first book and this book are self-published or what your journey in publishing has been. (As an aspiring author myself - you could email me if you desire - chattykelly at comcast dot net ).

You did a great job on the video - what a natural. You could have been on "I see what your saying" that we did over at 2nd Cup this week!

So glad to SEE you. Congratulations on your book!

Karen,
You are such an inspiration! I read your newsletter and have never written. I know I am accepted sand, dirt and all, but sometimes it is so nice to hear someone reiterate it to me. God has truly blessed me even in the valley and boy have I been through the valley lately. God bless you and I can't wait to read the book!
In Him,
Cathy

My video part isn't working!
I'll try again now and if it still isn't working, then I'll watch it in the AM when I can get my son to fix it.

Karen!

1) Congratulations!

2) You are even more beautiful via video than you are in pictures. I could not get over what big and pretty eyes you have.

3) Your voice is lovely as well--how could a child call a mom with that type of voice mean?

4) The devotion was wonderful!! I love how you take moments that can seem ordinary or simple and bring us into the depths that those moments hold. Priceless. I'll be ordering a copy for sure and I'll also do my best to help you promote your new book (not that I'm well connected or anything).

Karen,
I loved this post. You did an awesome job on the devo. I love what you wrote. I love how Papa God gives us pictures of His heart through our own children.

And yes, finally, I know how deeply and intimately He loves me. He has opened my eyes to see..though I am sure there is more to come. I know He sees me the way He made me and that is the greatest gift I can give to myself, to see me the way He sees me.

Again, thanks for sharing and congratulations!

Julie

Congratulations on your book! How exciting! The excerpt was so beautiful And there is NO WAY that soft undulating voice is EVER an irritable mother! NO WAY!

Congrats to the winners!!

Looks like I'll be buying a copy of your book when I'm finished with the first one. (which, by the way I am enjoying very much!!)

Hi Karen, I'm new to your blog and I just wanted to thank you for having such a great resource for irritable moms everywhere! I found your blog by googling "overwhelmed motherhood" and you came up first! I am absolutely going to purchase both books and keep reading your wonderful posts as they not only set me straight today (I had a horrible tug of war with my son this morning over him not wanting to wear a fleece vest as it was cold out, and let's just say mommy needed the time out by the end of it). There are just so many times when I am overwhelmed and feel tested with raising my two kids and having painful gall bladder attacks I am at my wits end usually....... so thank you for helping this momma see the light, finally. XOXO ~ momma claire
