Quiet Times and Motherhood - Wrap up

Last week I did a series which I'm wrapping up today. Here are the previous posts:
Part 1
Part 2
Part 3
Part 4
Part 5
It was my goal to keep the posts "short-ish." So if you missed any of them, I don't think it will take you long to catch up...Go ahead. I'll wait for you!

OK, as promised, now you can see me wrap this thing up.

Yes...God does not fit in our nice little boxes does He? He is everywhere, in everything, always beside us. We should not think He is limited to a "set apart quiet time". Learning to enjoy the presence of God all the time...Hiding His Word in your heart, remembering that the lessons you teach your children are for you as well. I enjoyed your presentation. I love your sweet and gentle way. Thanks too for your comment on my scar post. Hurt and healed! Awesome!

Well, the moment you broke out the old Bible and started reading Psalms I burst into tears. Don't know why... but I have a feeling I need to go and explore those trusty Psalms... I think Go dhas some answers for me!

Thank you for your ministry dear Karen... you speak to my heart more then anyone I know!

Many blessings-
Amanda

I'm thankful I had the chance to come visit your blog today. I've struggled with those same feelings of guilt about missing quiet times. For now, God has given me time most days to be with Him during my daughter's afternoon nap. When I don't make those times a priority, I can really tell. I'm not as focused on God and am more likely to "go it alone" through difficult circumstances. I am so thankful for the time I do have to spend in Bible study and prayer.

But, with another baby on the way, my schedule is going to change. It will be tougher to have time to myself. Thank you for those great insights on how to continually spend time with God throughout the day.
