i was just praying for my kids today and asking Jesus to (maya wanted me to type q so here i am typing q!) protect them and guide them in a relationship with him. as i was praying for them, i realized that maybe protection from the scary things in life and the bad trials that i DON't want them to have to face may be something that YHWH needs them to go through (not that HE wants them to be hurt either, but his picture is MUCH bigger than mine) then, i realized that my prayer needed to change. i'm not sure exactly, but i want my kiddos to be in his arms no matter WHAT they experience in life. thanks for speaking to my heart. weird! and cool!
Gianna - I know exactly what you mean! I soooo wish my chldren could simply listen to me and learn from MY experiences. Wish they wouldn't go through the pain, and do the stupid things I did. I will still do my best to train them in wisdom, hoping they will make better choices and live a better life than I did. But, like you, I am also aware that God's plans are better and bigger than mine. HE has managed to save me and is growing me, and I know HE can do the same with my children. Even if that means hard times for them, too. God is good. And that's really all that matters.
Patricia - God knows what we need. Amen? Remember, my friend: God created you, and He loves you, and He has a purpose for your life. Love you!! *grin*
i am going to send this link to my friend who has been struggling for the past year and some odd months and now she has had another stressful and sad thing added to her plate. karen, your sweet heart is so beautifull!
Gianna - Thank you. I pray God will use these words to speak to your friend. And my heart? Jesus lives there, and that's the only way it could be beautiful. Love you!
Edie - I think so, too! That's just like God, isn't it? Always in the details! *peaceful grin*

I must *really* need this today because this is the 3rd reference I have read today about His Purpose for my life! Love when that happens! ;)
Hugs, my friend!

I think we all need this encouraging reminder on a daily basis.
I think God was coordinating our messages today too. :)
Much love!
