The other night my husband was talking to our son about a concern he had regarding our son's friends. Things started getting heated - as our son wanted to be treated like the grown-up he wishes to be, rather than the child he is.
Been there?
Listening to the two of them arguing, part of me wanted to jump in and add my two cent's worth.

It may be long distance, but always praying for you here, my friend!
Patricia
Hey I enjoyed your post read it early this morning!! Have to agree that the prayer support is what makes a difference!!
Patricia - Thanks so much. You're a blessing to me!
Mamajil - We can't do this parenting thing without HIS help - and I'm thankful He has given us a way to draw close to Him, and support one another.
Oh dear Karen! I am so not looking forward to my kids teenage years. Praying for you. For strength and peace and courage to do what you know is right. Just remember you've instilled in him a lifetime of goodness and faith. This is temporary.
Angie - Thank you for the encouragement!
And don't fret the teenage years. I know I am just entering them, so I can hardly say I've "survived" them yet. But God was faithful through the infant and toddler and pre-school and elementary years. And I know He will remain the same!
Like you said. This is temporary.
