What an encouragement your post was to me this morning. I too had a year where the theme was TRUST and God is always faithful, One scripture I've been standing on is Isaiah 26:3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, whose thoughts are fixed on you.

Happy New Year!

Trust....and obey. Those may be my words for 2010. Welcome back and Happy New Year.

I'm doing a 2010 Scripture memory challenge over at The Point if you or any of your readers would like to join us. Come along.

Nicki - Yes! We just have to trust. Not always an easy thing, but God is faithful and He will help us.

Mamajil - Glad you were encouraged! So God was speaking to us similarly, eh? It's been a good lesson, hasn't it?

Leah - NO WAY! I just re-watched my video to see if I had said it - As I was reflecting on '09 and pondering '10, I had the distinct sense that this year's theme is going to be TRUST AND OBEY. Hmmm, is He speaking through you? *grin*

Yet again, you say words that I need to hear. I would love to be trusting God with everything... instead of just most of my life.

Be blessed!

So happy that you are back, Karen. I've missed your daily words of wisdom.
Ah trust... I have such a problem with trust. I am so doubting, I constantly need proof of God's love and favor.

You're right! I have no idea what 2010 holds, but I will trust Him to work out the fears I have and the hopes I have too.

Amanda - God knows!
It's hard to trust with everything, isn't it? So much easier to trust for other people's "everything" and just our own "most."
But God is faithful, and He will help us.

Patricia - Guess HE wants us ALL to trust. *grin*
So glad you're enjoying the book. Um, yea, did you want me to remove the hidden camera I had posted in your house? LOL!

Angie - It is good to be back. I have missed being here - even while I've been enjoying the break. Er, being sick, that is. *sigh*
God knows what you need, and I have an idea that if you look around, you'll see proof of His love and favor every.single.day.

O Mom - Glad to be on the journey with you!!!

What a wonderful message to begin the new year with. Okay, it's a wonderful message for anytime! I always have to wonder why it is so hard for me to trust Him sometimes when He has proven over and over that He is taking care of everything.

Have missed you! Hope your Holy-days were enjoyable!

Love you!

Nichole - Happy New Year to you, too!
MORE of Him.
Yes! That's what I want.

Edie - Why is it so hard to trust when He's proven Himself over and over? I think that's a human-nature thing. But I believe He is BIG enough to lead us past our natural tendencies.
Love you, too, my friend!

I know that I was lead to lesson to this message today. I was not open to this yesterday. My heart aches but, I am going to trust. Thanks for the true reflections on God and the new year.

Tarrah - I'm glad you were here. In God's timing.
Still praying for you, friend, that God will comfort your aching heart.
