HE is Behind You and Before You

oh, Karen.
Weird. Weird. Weird. Last night, our 3 year old was saying she was afraid to go to bed after we had tucked her in. So I asked her if she was tired or needed to do something to make her more tired. She chose doing chores (I'm telling you, my house is going to be immaculate with all the chores my kids are doing). Anyway, when she went back to bed, she said she was scared (again), so I figured she was telling the truth. So as I tucked her in, I told her that she had 3 things going for her. Maya was in the same room, she had her pig, ANd Jesus was with her. She asked why she couldn't see Jesus so I explained that He is with her in her heart and He won't ever leave her, but that we can't see him.
THEN (this is the weird part), I said, as I wrap you up in your pooh blanket, think of it is as Jesus's arms around you so you can feel hugged by him as you go to sleep.
So cool!

This took me back to the 3rd grade choir. We sang My Father's Angels! I couldn't find a better link... but this is the song. https://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtdVPE.asp?ppn=MN0069315
I'm sure my mom still has the old record! Thanks for sharing this verse.
