I try not to be needy because I am positive that it annoys God as much as it annoys me.
But then I remember passages like Isaiah 30 where God wants ONLY him to be enough. Don't go to anyone else because they are not strong enough or wise enough or rich enough or anything else to take care of me. Only God can take care of us. In fact in Isaiah 31 it says, (paraphrased) "too bad they went to Egypt because they are going to have to suffer my wrath that was meant for Egypt and Jerusalem is going to be spared because I will hold them apart from the suffering."
So He WANTs us to need him? Okay, I gotta work on letting myself need him.

Oh boy...yep definately needed the kleenex for this one. If neediness qualifies us for his love I am beginning to wonder if I might be overqualified. Trusting God because only He can make a difference...only He can fill my loneliness.....only He can turn my life around to reflect His glory and splendor. Hoping, waiting, trusting.

Patricia - Er, Patrucua *grin* - I'm so glad God met you right in your need today! Love you.

Gianna - It takes a paradigm shift, to be sure! But I can't deny my neediness, and I am so thankful He's fine with that.

Anonymous - Overqualified? Now there's a positive spin. *wink*
I am so glad you stopped by today, and I pray God will fill you in every way.
Yes, LORD, You are completely trustworthy, perfectly faithful. I'm asking You now to hold this dear woman in Your arms. Please speak tenderly to her heart of Your love. You are the God of hope and I pray You would fill her with all joy and peace as she trusts in You, so that she may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I'm asking it in the wonderful, powerful, beautiful, matchless Name of JESUS.
Amen and amen!

Nichole - You're welcome. Thanks for stopping by!

Pat - It's good to be in this together!
Oh, yes. Some days I recognize my need more than others, but the truth is - I am absolutely desperate for HIM every day.
