Encouragement for Today

Got this in an email recently. I've seen it before and you probably have, too. But every time I read it, God encourages my heart. May HE speak to yours today!

The next time you feel like GOD can't use YOU, just remember...
Noah was a drunk
Abraham was too old
Isaac was a daydreamer
Jacob was a liar
Leah was ugly
Joseph was abused
Moses had a stuttering problem
Gideon was afraid
Sampson had long hair and was a womanizer
Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
Elijah was suicidal
Isaiah preached naked
Jonah ran from God
Naomi was a widow
Job went bankrupt
John the Baptist ate bugs
Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
Martha worried about everything
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
Zaccheus was too small
Paul was too religious
Timothy had an ulcer...
AND Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now!! God can use you to your full potential. Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.

I haven't seen it before... OR it probably has been delivered to my inbox, but I admit... 90% of the time, if I see it's a forward... I normally delete...

THANK YOU! for putting here... I need this reminder... I'M not capable of accomplishing great things, but GOD is capable of accomplishing great things through me. :o)

Jodi - I usually delete them, too. But sometimes I read them and find a treasure like this one. *grin*

I have seen this before but there is so much truth and encouragement in it that I can read it over and over.

That's exactly how I feel, Leah. I can read it over and over, again.
In fact, I do!

A fantastic reminder that God doesn't necessarily desire perfect people... just humble, dependent ones! Love it!

Sara - I'm so glad HE can work with my imperfections!
