Surviving the Night

I hope you'll check back tomorrow to help me celebrate my birthday. *grin*
I'll be giving away a few books. I plan to do the drawing before I go to bed at 10:00 EST (Yes, that's early, but I'm getting old, you know! LOL) So don't be late!

Karen,

As I listened to you I could STRONGLY relate. Different circumstances but still the same, "Jesus can you please....and would you please right now".

I'm in that place right now and have been since a week ago Sunday night but I TRUST GOD that in my "wait" all will be well.

Simplistic and powerfully said and so true of where many of us are right now in some area of our lives.

My Grandmother taught Psalm 27:13-14(KJV) to me as a child. I often, almost daily say it, pray it, speak it aloud over myself and the needs of others. I did not know when she taught it to me that when I became an adult I would NEED that WORD specifically to hold on to through the "Jesus please..." moments of life.

I have learned to "wait on the LORD and be of good cheer" because He always strengthens my heart. I've learned to EXPECT to see HIS goodness in every situation!

Is waiting fun? No. Is it challenging? Often times. Is it necessary? Yes. Because all things must happen in God's timing.

Thank you for the REMINDER and encouragement today dear friend. You know my prayers continue for our Matthew.

Love you.

Ahhhhh....I too am in a "waiting" situation, different circumstances, but waiting & ASKING, nonetheless...thank you for this beautiful reminder! It's just what I needed to hear right now!

And thanks for "stopping by" & leaving such a sweet note! Let me know if you make it back to the bright lights! ;)
Hugs & have a blessed day!

Karen,

Once again, I felt like God was speaking right through you to me! Thanks for the video! I felt like you were talking right to me! What a great analogy! We are still praying through the night - but trusting that His joy comes in the morning!

Love you!

Renee
