THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!
You have no idea how I needed this today!! But, God certainly knew, didn't He? ;)

Yes, it IS all about TRUST, isn't it? In EVERYTHING!!!

My friend, I am sittin' in a BOWL of pits today...lol!! But while I'm sitting there I am praying really hard, asking Him to show me the way out and trusting that He will!

Hugs to you, Karen!!

Patricia - Yes, HE surely did.

And God, I pray that You will show Patricia Your goodness and faithfulness, even in the midst of the pits today.

Hugs back!

so you are saying that the Bible says no matter what he has us going through and no matter how badly we want to be out of it, He can and will be glorified! even if it looks like garbage to me! oh, boy! that changes my perspective a bit!

Gianna - Yes, my friend. I believe God knows what He's doing. As God, He has full authority to do as He wills. And even the things that seem 'bad' to us will be used for His glory.
And just think - cherry PITS produce wonderful cherry TREES when they have served their purpose as pits. *grin*
Love you!

Thank you for speaking life giving truth! I have experienced first hand 'pits turned into flourishing trees!'

Right on, sister!

You know, this reminds me -- I'm stuck at the end of chapter 5 in your book "Confessions of an Irritable Mother"... the part about being tested and refined like silver -- but that we can rejoice, as it says in Romans 5 and James 1 -- because suffering produces perseverence, and perseverence produces character. I guess I'm not really "stuck" but "staying" for awhile -- because these verses are so familiar to me, yet God is showing me something new through it -- and once I "get it" I'll be able to move ahead. I sense SO MUCH of God's love through your writing, and I think that's what's captured me... that God's not just testing us and refining us because He's a giant drill sargent, but because He *loves* us and wants us to be like Him! I'm starting to get it.... :)

Nichole - It's an amazing experience, isn't it? Almost makes you forget how the pits felt.
Almost.
*grin*

Sara - Stay as long as you need to, my friend. And soak up His love for you.
You're blessing my heart with your words. Thank you.
May you know His love more and more each day!

I wish I can say that I was open to however God chose to use my circumstances, but I know that it takes a lot of faith and trust. I have to have faith. I have to trust.

Angie - It does take faith and trust. But God is perfectly faithful and trustworthy. I believe He will give you what you need if you truly seek it.
Love you!
