More 'Stuff'

Last Thursday on my day off, I encountered more delays. Things thrown in my day unexpectedly, other stuff just not working out as planned - thereby causing delays. My plans for my day were getting all shuffled around. And I was trying so hard to not get bent out of shape about it.

Then...

I got into the van and as soon as I turned it on, I heard this song playing on the radio. Seriously!

I laughed out loud, and thanked God for reminding me that HIS timing, HIS plans, HIS ways are perfect. I thanked Him for reminding me how much I'm blessed - even in my little mess.
Oh, how I love it when HE uses my 'stuff'!

How has God been using your stuff lately?

I was so upset on Saturday with my husband. Never been this upset in my life. I had prayed, read my Bible, etc. I laid there in my bed listening to my Ipod. I had it set on shufflel I simply asked God, "please let the next song that comes on put me to sleep and let my mind rest." I had the Ipod on shuffle. The very next song that came on was, "Quiet Your Mind" by The Zac Brown Band." I listened to it and meditated and was able to slepp peacefully... God is an AWESOME God!

Ginny - Yes, HE is! I love it when He does stuff like that. :o)

AmberRay - I think we can ALL relate to it. 'Cuz the 'stuff' is everywhere! *wink*

I just love how God can use 'stuff' like that to show us a greater perspective!

I think God is using my 'stuff' (my weaknesses and mistakes, particularly in mothering) to show me how truly huge and awesome His grace really is. I feel like I'm on the cusp of a big personal revelation about His love for me -- but man, does the Enemy pour on the heat then! Oy...

Sara - When that heat comes, call on the Living Water to cool things down! Praying God will speak His love into your heart and soul.
