Pharmacy Notes

"Followers of Jesus don't have jobs. They have ministry assignments."

Marvin Williams
Senior Teaching Pastor
Trinity Church, Lansing, MI

The previous quote comes from the following video. This is the sermon I heard last Sunday, right before I went to my job. Er, my ministry assignment. God spoke to my heart regarding the time I spend in the pharmacy, and I invite you to stick around here a while and watch it.

Maybe some day I will be able to watch it. 4 little ones around my feet makes it difficult.

I love that quote! I'm going to write that down.

I wish more people would think of their jobs as ministry assignments ...

Gianna - I hear you!

Jeri - Having that perspective changes everything!

first, thank you, thank you, thank you for your prayer for Christen. I prayed it right along as I read it. That meant the world to me!!

I try my best to remember that just b/c I'm @ work, doesn't mean I leave my Christian hat at the door. Keeping my Christian hat on is what gets me through the day!! And sometimes, I get to pass on the Truth!! So awesome...

Jodi - You're so welcome. I'm glad you prayed with me. That's one of the reasons I type my prayers out - so they're prayed when I'm typing, AND when you're reading.
